The Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships in Seaford, Delaware is seeking an entry-level General Auto Service Tech to join its high-volume service department. This role offers paid training, a strong learning path, and opportunities to advance toward technician certification.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of automotive maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to learn in a collaborative, team-focused environment. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Own a basic set of automotive repair tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Valid driver's license with minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services including oil changes, lube services, and fluid flushes.
• Complete Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs).
• Assist with brake services (experience a plus, not required).
• Gain hands-on experience while working toward technician certifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
