Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–10 years related experience in engineering/industrial environment preferred.
• Experience in automotive machining processes, tooling capability, and dimensional quality systems desired.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert of assigned area during vehicle launches.
• Coordinate and lead project activities, including new equipment installation, supplier selection, and implementation phases.
• Analyze and continuously improve performance in safety, quality, production, cost and human factors.
• Participate in Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and other problem-solving teams as directed.
• Provide technical training to Team Members and Team Leaders as required.
• Support daily production issues as needed.
• Review technical developments and propose new technology projects.
• Prepare presentations/reports on projects, progress and issues for management.
• Understand and control labor allocation.
• Comply with BMS, EMS and SMS requirements.
