Job summary

Moog is seeking a General Assembly Specialist for the 2nd shift at our Buffalo, NY site.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic math and English proficiency, and at least one year of mechanical experience; FAA safety program participation is mandatory.

You will perform assemblies of pins, plugs and sleeves, prepare parts, and operate a hydraulic press and Bridgeport Mill, contributing to a safe, quality-focused manufacturing environment with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; otherwise English literacy and basic math ability.
• At least 1 year of mechanical inclination experience.
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program enrollment is required per FAA rules.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pins, plugs, sleeves, rings, stops and other components with precise tolerances.
• Prepare parts and mix compounds per Moog specifications.
• Operate equipment such as Hydraulic Press and Bridgeport Mill to complete tasks.

Job Title: General Assembly Specialist - 2nd Shift

Reporting To: Leader, Performance

Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY

To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you: High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. At least 1 year experience in a position which requires high levels of mechanical inclination In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform different assembly of pins, plugs, sleeves, rings, stops, etc. Requiring measurements and calculations to achieve exacting tolerances on finished products.
• Will prepare parts, mix compounds, to conform to Moog requirements.
• Perform different operations on the following machines and equipment: Hydraulic Press, Bridgeport Mill

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $22.00–$27.00 Hourly Salary Range
