Parker Hannifin's Hydraulic & Aerospace Filtration Division (HAFD) in Greensboro, NC is seeking a General Assembler to set up, operate, and maintain a variety of manufacturing equipment. You will work safely and efficiently, following engineering, quality, and production requirements while supporting Lean initiatives and a collaborative team environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, good communication, and the ability to work overtime, including weekends.

Competenze

• Citizenship: US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vision: 20/25 vision corrected or uncorrected
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in manufacturing environment
• Communication: read, write & understand English for safety and quality
• Math Skills: basic to medium math; conversions
• Physical Demands: standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs

• Set up and operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe workplace and follow safety policies.
• Produce quality product in a timely manner following Quality system requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Read blueprints and follow engineering instructions.
• Learn and operate equipment within 90 days of hire.
• Use labor clock and perform basic computer tasks within 10 days.
• Inspect with gauges after training; manage paperwork within 30 days.
• Engage in Lean initiatives and 5S activities.
• Support overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
• Assist leadership with additional assignments as required.
