Job summary

Accurate Fabrication, LLC is seeking an Assembler to complete final integration of light to medium metal fabrication. You will read and follow blueprints and job travelers to ensure parts meet customer specifications and quality standards before shipment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to quality plans, and safe, organized work areas. Training is provided for the right candidate based on experience, with emphasis on processes and print requirements.

Qualifications

  • General assembly and shop experience beneficial.
  • Riveting, assembly, and kitting experience highly desired.
  • Process experience such as PEM, riveting, assembly, and kitting desired but not required.
  • Will train the right candidate based on experience.
  • Attention to processes, print and process requirements, quality control, and following instruction are important.

Responsibilities

  • Read and follow instructions on job traveler.
  • Read and understand blueprints.
  • Use basic measure tools such as caliper, tape measure, height gage, torque wrench.
  • Follow and document quality plan for inspection of parts.
  • Recognize defects in parts, not limited to rust, damage, missing features, not matching print.
  • Identify material type in conformance with print / job traveler specification.
  • Handle parts for the process and package according to instructions.
  • Perform nut and bolt assembly, riveting, kitting, packaging and the installation of riv-nuts or PEMs.
  • Reviewing paint appearance for defects and ensuring overall part quality.
  • Label parts with matching job label including quantity and next operation.
  • Maintain work areas and tooling to ensure a clean and safe environment; this includes general cleaning and housekeeping.

Pay: Hourly based on experience

Job Type: Full-Time: (4)-10hr days, Part-Time: 4 days, up to 29hrs

Job Description: As an Assembler, you will be responsible for the final integration of light to medium metal fabrication. This role requires a high level of attention to detail to ensure all components meet customer specifications and quality standards before shipment.

Physical Requirements: General part handling. Use of hands to hold parts, hand tools, operate and adjust machines. Standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Actuation of machine controls, such as foot pedals. Weight up to 40lbs for parts. Higher parts weights in areas equipped with lifting equipment or team lift.
