Job summary

Dartmouth Health’s Department of Anesthesiology seeks a General Anesthesiologist to join Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, Vermont.

You’ll provide anesthesia services across a range of procedures in a community hospital, with opportunities for teaching and collaboration with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. This role offers patient-centered care, relocation assistance up to $15,000, and a balance of clinical autonomy with teamwork, in a supportive community setting near

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Interest in both academic and community practice settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for adolescent and adult patients.
• Care for general surgery, orthopedics, endoscopy, ophthalmology, robotics, and other procedures.
• Manage independent cases and regional anesthesia blocks.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Support teaching and mentorship with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
