Job summary

Dartmouth Health's Department of Anesthesiology seeks a skilled General Anesthesiologist to join Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) in Windsor, VT. Join a close-knit team and provide anesthesia across a diverse range of procedures with opportunities for teaching and mentorship through Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
Eligible for medical licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont.
Experience or interest in both academic and community practice settings.
Excellent clinical judgment, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Commitment to continuous learning and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for adolescent and adult patients in a community hospital.
Care for procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, endoscopy, ophthalmology, robotics.
Manage independent cases and perform regional blocks with surgical/anesthesia teams.
Collaborate with physicians, CRNAs, nurses and surgeons to provide high-quality care close to home.
Support access to care for Windsor and surrounding communities; minimize patient travel.
