The Atlantic District is seeking a General Agent in Somerset, PA to build a client-focused book of business. You’ll set your schedule, meet families and business owners, and help clients secure financial protection with personalized insurance solutions.

Join a supportive team that values integrity, growth, and community engagement. This role offers base salary plus commission and opportunities for bonuses, with work-from-home flexibility and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Life and Health Insurance License.
• 3+ years of experience in direct insurance sales or field underwriting.
• Strong ability to build and manage professional networks from the ground up.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management software.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding growth targets.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for presenting policy information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow our presence throughout the Somerset community.
• Identify potential clients and meet them where they are to discuss long-term financial security.
• Maintain high standards of ethical practice while helping families navigate their coverage options.
• Collaborate with our home office to streamline the onboarding of new policyholders.
• Participate in local business events and community gatherings to strengthen our agency’s reputation.
• Provide ongoing support to existing clients to ensure their policies evolve alongside their life changes.
