Job summary

Corus International seeks a Manager, General Accounting to lead day-to-day accounting, global accounts payable, GL reconciliations, and audit support from its Washington, DC office. The role is hybrid, reporting to the Director, General Accounting, with two in-office days weekly (Tuesday and Wednesday) and remote work the rest.

You will supervise staff, strengthen internal controls, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure GAAP compliance and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of general accounting experience including A/P, A/R, G/L, and related functions.
• Direct supervisory responsibility and ERP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global accounts payable and disbursements processes.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Lead staff and provide guidance to improve controls and processes.
