Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, Shared Services, Finance Operations, or AP transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of invoice processing, approvals, exception management, controls, and payment readiness processes.

Our client, Finance Operations is seeking a General Accounting Manager to join their team. As a General Accounting Manager, you will be part of the Finance organization supporting Accounting Operations and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, clear stakeholder communication, and a continuous-improvement mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Accounting Manager

Shift: Day - Mon to Fri - 8 Hours

What's the Job?

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end general accounting activities, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting aligned with established processes and controls.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to validate business requirements, document operational needs, and support process reviews that improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Support testing and readiness activities by developing realistic scenarios, validating outcomes against approved requirements, and identifying gaps that could impact operational performance.
• Drive go-live and stabilization support by monitoring adoption, investigating issues, escalating risks appropriately, and helping teams transition smoothly into steady-state operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, recommending enhancements to controls and workflows, and supporting standardized practices across teams.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay, Shared Services, Finance Operations, or AP transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of invoice processing, approvals, exception management, controls, and payment of readiness processes.
• Experience participating in UAT, deployment, go-live, hyper-care, or operational improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams and multiple countries.
