Job summary

Dauch is seeking a General Accountant in Auburn Hills, MI to support regional accounting, AR activities, and SOX compliance. The role requires preparing cash forecasts, balance sheet reconciliations, and timely financial reporting to aid business objectives.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, at least 3 years in financial accounting, and strong Excel/ERP skills. This is a full-time on-site position with the Detroit-area operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum 3 years in financial accounting or equivalent.
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls is required.
• Accounts receivable or collections experience with OEMs or tier customers is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly/quarterly SOX activities including documentation, testing, data uploads, and audit responses.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable and credit/collections for multiple US sites.
• Prepare monthly cash forecast and regional bad debt provision calculations.
• Manage customer and master data; support AR cash application and ERP master management.
• Assist with reconciliations, journal entries, and budgets as needed.
