Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in financial accounting role or equivalent.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act control environment.
• Collections experience from OEMs and tier customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional monthly/quarterly SOX requirements: documentation, testing, data upload, audit responses.
• AR credit and collections for multiple US sites and significant customer accounts.
• Prepare monthly cash forecast for incoming customer receipts, updated weekly.
• Prepare monthly regional bad debt provision calculation.
• Assist corporate accounting with monthly reconciliations and standard journal entries.
• Support ERP master data and AR cash application as primary back-up.
• Assist with annual budget process and other finance projects.
• Provide financial information and reports as part of the finance team.

General Accountant

Job Description Summary

The General Accountant is responsible for supporting regional accounting and accounts receivable activities, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, credit and collections, cash forecasting, and financial reporting. They ensure accurate financial records, support month-end processes, maintain key customer and master data, and collaborate with finance teams to provide timely financial information and support business objectives.

Job Description:

• Take leading role in Regional team completion of monthly/quarterly SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements; documentation, testing, data upload, audit responses.
• Accounts Receivable Credit and Collections for multiple US sites and other significant customer accounts
• Prepare monthly cash forecast for incoming customer cash receipts, updating weekly
• Prepare monthly regional bad debt provision calculation
• Manage Customer database for Robotic Process Automation customer statement process
• Support AR Cash Application process as primary back-up
• Support ERP Supplier/Customer master management process as primary back-up
• Maintain work instructions/procedures for changes as needed
• Assist corporate accounting function with monthly account reconciliations and standard journal entries
• Assist with annual budget process and other department projects as required
• Work as member of finance team to supply financial information and reports as required
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. Candidates with relevant accounting, shared services, or SOX compliance experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 3 years in financial accounting role or equivalent.
• Experience working within the guidelines of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (internal controls environment).
• Collections experience from OEM's and tier customers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office- proficient in Excel.
• Knowledge of Infor ERPLN Preferred.
