Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Finance organization’s GAAP-based financial reporting and SEC filing activities. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and focuses on maintaining GAAP records and assisting with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 2+ years in accounting/financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statements.
• Public accounting experience and CPA preferred are a plus.
• Experience applying GAAP in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical accounting research and prepare accounting memorandums.
• Assist with implementation of new accounting standards and internal controls.
• Prepare financial statements and footnotes for SEC filings.
• Assist with SOX – Section 404 testing.
• Analyze reports from third-party providers (pension/OBEP, goodwill).
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance functions to improve processes.
• Produce accounting information and reports for management decisions.
