Dauch Corporation, a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier, is seeking a General Accountant to support regional accounting and AR activities. You will help ensure SOX compliance, conduct monthly close tasks, and collaborate with finance teams to provide timely financial information.

The role emphasizes accuracy in customer data management, cash forecasting, and assisting with budgets and journal entries while maintaining robust internal controls across US sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in financial accounting role or equivalent.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act control environment.
• Collections experience from OEMs and tier customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional monthly/quarterly SOX requirements: documentation, testing, data upload, audit responses.
• AR credit and collections for multiple US sites and significant customer accounts.
• Prepare monthly cash forecast for incoming customer receipts, updated weekly.
• Prepare monthly regional bad debt provision calculation.
• Assist corporate accounting with monthly reconciliations and standard journal entries.
• Support ERP master data and AR cash application as primary back-up.
• Assist with annual budget process and other finance projects.
• Provide financial information and reports as part of the finance team.
