Job summary

Inland Imaging seeks an AI Solutions Engineer to design, build, and deploy GenAI-powered tools across medical imaging and operations. You will implement AI integrations, deploy models, and collaborate with clinicians and ops to improve workflows.

Required four years in software/AI, Python expertise, and experience with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs; travel ~10% to client sites. Hybrid work at Inland Imaging Business Center, Spokane.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, AI, data science or equivalent.
• 4+ years of related experience; 3+ years in software engineering or AI/MI development.
• Experience deploying generative AI solutions via APIs like OpenAI or Anthropic.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
• Strong Python skills; JavaScript or R is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for clinical and operational audiences.
• Willingness to travel ~10% to client sites/conferences.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Drug test: able to pass post-offer, pre-employment screening.
• Proficient in Outlook, Office Suite, and Smartsheet usage.

Responsibilities

• Builds AI agents and automation workflows for medical imaging and operations.
• Designs integrations using REST APIs and third-party services.
• Develops and refines generative AI models and APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini).
• Deploys models in production across cloud-native and edge environments.
• Integrates AI tools with EMR/EHR, PACS, and clinical workflows.
• Communicates AI capabilities to clinical and operational stakeholders.
• Mentor Junior AI Solutions Engineer and assist onboarding.
• Maintains documentation and applies DevOps best practices.
• Explores special projects with cross-functional teams.
