Job summary

Deloitte seeks a Frontier GenAI Frontend Deployed Engineer (FDE) to rapidly prototype and deliver GenAI-enabled solutions with client teams. You will work with senior engineers, product owners, and architects to translate business needs into high-value AI outcomes.

You will produce production-grade code, implement CI/CD, and contribute reusable assets while mentoring peers in a pod-based delivery model. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering.
• 3+ years in software, data engineering, data science, or analytics engineering.
• 1+ years building GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client or production.
• 1+ years with Frontier GenAI Platforms (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI, etc.).
• 1+ years leading project workstreams and translating business problems into AI solutions.
• 1+ years building reliable, maintainable code with documentation.
• Willingness to travel ~50% and ability to work with client teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed with clients to identify business needs and translate GenAI use cases.
• Partner with leaders to align priorities and delivery across teams.
• Lead sessions to shape solutions and drive client outcomes.
• Prototype and deliver AI solutions using industry expertise.
• Mentor newer team members within an FDE pod.
• Develop scalable AI engineering patterns and runbooks.
