Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Microsoft AI & Data FDE who will prototype and deliver GenAI-enabled solutions for enterprise clients, working with senior stakeholders and engineers to drive measurable business impact from day one.

You will embed with client teams, translate business needs into AI use cases, build scalable AI engineering patterns, and contribute reusable assets. Travel up to 50% is expected; immigration sponsorship may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science or Engineering required.
• 3+ years of software/data/analytics engineering experience.
• 1+ years building GenAI/LLM solutions in client or production environments.
• 1+ years with Microsoft AI+Data including Azure AI Foundry.
• 1+ years leading project workstreams and translating business problems into AI solutions.
• 1+ years of producing well-documented, maintainable code.
• Ability to travel ~50% and immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Embed with clients to identify business needs and translate GenAI use cases into solutions.
• Partner with leaders, product owners, architects, and engineers to align priorities.
• Lead sessions to shape solutions and drive client outcomes.
• Prototype and deliver working AI solutions using industry expertise.
• Contribute within an FDE pod and mentor newer team members.
• Build AI-enabled solutions and scalable engineering patterns.
• Apply architecture decisions balancing quality, latency, cost, and risk.
• Deliver production-ready code with testing, CI/CD, and documentation.
• Develop extensible functionality and reusable assets (code, prompts, runbooks).
