Bain & Co. Coro unit seeks a data-focused AI engineering professional to design GenAI-powered tools for B2B go-to-market offerings in a client-facing consulting context.

You will develop AI-powered tools, implement GenAI applications, and build advanced search and knowledge pipelines. This role emphasizes reliability, security, governance, and collaboration with Bain consultants and client teams, delivering end-to-end ML solutions across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience
• 3-5+ years of AI/ML engineering experience with strong backend fundamentals
• Strong Python proficiency and API development experience
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered applications focusing on latency, cost, reliability, and security
• Experience building retrieval/search systems and comfort with vector/graph relational stores
• Experience with agentic patterns, tooling, orchestration, and memory/state handling
• Experience deploying services on AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker and Kubernetes in production

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered tools and products that drive meaningful business outcomes
• Design and implement GenAI apps such as copilots and workflow automation
• Create agentic workflows with reliable, safe, and well-documented execution
• Architect and build advanced search, vector stores, knowledge graphs, and data pipelines
• Develop robust agent capabilities including context management and orchestration
• Integrate AI solutions into enterprise environments via APIs and data systems
• Translate client needs into technical requirements and delivery plans
• Build and apply data science and ML capabilities across projects
• Deliver end-to-end ML solutions with full lifecycle processes
