Eliassen Group is seeking a GenAI Software Engineer in Rockville, MD to identify, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions across the software development lifecycle. The role combines hands-on GenAI tooling with strong engineering judgment to automate high-value processes and enable scalable AI enablement.

Responsibilities include prototyping AI-powered SDLC tools, translating outcomes into training materials, and advising on AI patterns and best practices within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• SDLC expertise including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, Git, testing strategies.
• Hands-on software development background with coding proficiency.
• Experience integrating AI into the SDLC and using AI-powered development tools.
• Ability to identify and correct low-quality AI-generated content.
• Cross-functional solution development experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with enablement teams to identify needs and develop AI-driven SDLC solutions.
• Prototype and validate AI tools as they evolve.
• Advise on AI tool selection, implementation patterns, and best practices.
• Develop instructional materials for training SDLC, AI integration, tools, processes.
• Engage SMEs to contribute content and validate material.
• Track training effectiveness with assessments and metrics.
• Facilitate instructor-led sessions and adapt delivery to audience.
