Databricks Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Engineer for the Forward Deployed Engineering (AI FDE) team. You will design, build, and deploy GenAI applications at scale for customers, acting as a technical advisor and driving production rollouts across diverse domains.

Open to remote locations. The role emphasizes cutting-edge GenAI techniques, collaboration with product and engineering teams, and opportunities to present at major conferences while traveling about every 4–8 weeks to meet

Formación

• Extensive hands-on experience designing, building and deploying production GenAI and LLM applications.
• Experience with RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, fine-tuning for production systems.
• Experience deploying GenAI products on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline (CS, Engineering, Statistics, OR) and strong collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions using Databricks AI research techniques.
• Own production rollouts of GenAI applications for customers and internal use.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor across multiple customer domains.
• Present at Data + AI Summit and influence product roadmap.
• Collaborate with product/engineering teams to shape priorities and roadmaps.
