Meta seeks a product-focused strategic thinker to join its Product Policy & Strategy team as a Product Policy Manager for GenAI. You will provide policy counsel to product and engineering teams as they launch multi-modal GenAI products, working with policy, product, legal, communications, design, and marketing colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, policy, law, comms, computer science or related field
• 8+ years of experience in policy, policy enforcement, law, government, national security, law enforcement, product design, product management or related field
• Experience working at the intersection of AI policy and legislative/government affairs, and drafting policy documentation
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally to develop policies and apply analytical thinking to solving ambiguous problems

Responsabilités

• Provide policy guidance that protects and promotes free expression in GenAI products/features while minimizing business risks and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory environments
• Develop and implement forward-thinking policies to govern multi-modal GenAI products and features
• Create clear risk assessments and scalable frameworks to operationalize mitigations across a broad range of products
• Collaborate with software engineers, designers, lawyers, product managers, and others to address policy, legal, engineering, UI, business, and marketing considerations
• Act as an escalation point of contact and manage internal communications for policy issues
