Job summary

Meta is seeking a product-focused strategist to join its Product Policy team as a Product Policy Manager for GenAI. You will advise Meta Superintelligence Labs' product and engineering teams as they launch multi-modal GenAI products and features, coordinating with policy, product, legal, design and marketing colleagues.

Success requires deep AI policy experience, ability to prioritize across competing workstreams, and a passion for developing responsible AI products that connect people.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in political science, policy, law, communications, computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in product policy, public policy, law, government, national security, product management or related field.
• Understanding of AI policy and technology policy, including stakeholders, research initiatives, and industry trends.
• Experience working autonomously and cross-functionally to develop policies and solve ambiguous, complex problems.
• Experience driving alignment across cross-functional teams with competing priorities to reach decisions on policy or product direction.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy guidance that protects free expression in GenAI products while minimizing business risks and ensuring compliance.
• Develop and implement policies to govern multi-modal GenAI products and features.
• Create risk assessments and scalable mitigations across products.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, lawyers, product managers, and others on policy, legal, engineering and UI considerations.
• Act as escalation point for policy issues and manage internal communications.
