Job summary

Meta seeks a product-focused strategic thinker to join its Product Policy & Strategy team as a Product Policy Manager. You will provide policy counsel to product and engineering teams as they launch multi-modal GenAI products, collaborating with policy, product, legal, communications, design, and marketing teams.

You will work to protect expression while minimizing business risk, develop forward-looking GenAI policies, and create scalable frameworks to operationalize mitigations across products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in political science, policy, law, comms, computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in policy, policy enforcement, law, government, or related field.
• Experience at intersection of AI policy and legislative/government affairs; policy drafting.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy guidance to product and engineering teams for GenAI products.
• Develop forward-thinking policies to govern multi-modal GenAI products.
• Create risk assessments and scalable mitigation frameworks.
• Collaborate with policy, product, legal, communications, design and marketing teams.
• Act as escalation point and manage internal communications for policy issues.
