Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior AI/Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operationalize scalable GenAI solutions across cloud platforms. You will work across AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and serverless architectures to deliver secure healthcare AI systems that improve member experiences.

Lead architecture, implement data pipelines, RAG systems, and agentic frameworks while ensuring responsible AI and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in large-scale software development.
• 5+ years solution architecture or system design experience.
• 5+ years building large-scale microservices/APIs using Node.js.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with GCP and AWS (serverless, event-driven, AI/ML, CI/CD).
• AWS Bedrock or GCP Vertex AI or similar technologies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Strong experience with Python for AI/ML engineering.
• Production experience with agentic AI frameworks, RAG architectures, and vector databases, serverless and event-driven designs.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and implementation of advanced ML models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with data scientists, clinicians, and IT to define ML projects and priorities.
• Define performance metrics and evaluation methodologies for ML models.
• Design scalable data pipelines, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
• Advise on optimization of data pipelines, model training, and infrastructure.
• Present technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and responsible AI practices.
• Lead team performance and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Stay updated on AI advancements to enhance healthcare ML capabilities.
