Job summary

Nelnet is seeking a Remote GenAI Solutions Engineer to lead the build and deployment of agentic AI solutions on the Gemini Enterprise Platform. You will translate backlog items into working, scalable agents and RAG pipelines, aligning with client needs and Nelnet engineering standards.

You will collaborate with Data and Deployment teams to ensure data readiness, model integration, and production-grade delivery across higher education and public-sector clients.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying GenAI/agentic AI solutions in production
• Experience with Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform or Vertex AI preferred
• Familiarity with RAG, multi-agent orchestration, model grounding
• Strong Python or SDK-based integration skills
• Knowledge of cloud data services and IAM on Google Cloud

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic assistants on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform
• Implement RAG pipelines and grounding
• Integrate A2A protocols and multi-agent orchestration patterns
• Build live API integrations with client systems (SIS/ERP)
• Deliver high-quality, tested solutions on schedule
