Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks an Applied AI and Machine Learning Director to lead end-to-end GenAI and AI/ML solution delivery. You will mentor a team, set technical direction, ensure code quality, and align technical work with business impact.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and business partners to translate needs into plans, metrics, and shipped capabilities, while balancing near-term deliveries with long-term foundations.

Qualifications

Advanced Python programming with production-quality code.
GenAI/LLM delivery including prompt engineering and fine-tuning.
Experience with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI).
Know-how on retrieval augmented generation, embeddings, vector search.
Experience with Snowflake/Databricks and at least one cloud platform.
Experience with ML libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
MLOps practices: versioning, experiments, deployment pipelines, Git, containers.
Proven leadership of data science teams and delivery of AI initiatives in large enterprises.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
