Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years in production AI/ML systems.
• Proven hands-on leadership: architecture decisions, reviews, and mentoring.
• Proficiency in Python for model development and OpenAI API integration.
• Experience with ML frameworks and cloud platforms, plus Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong foundation in statistics and various ML/generative model types.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership by designing, developing, and deploying ML/LLM/GenAI solutions from concept through production.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, ML engineers, and stakeholders to set requirements and priorities.
• Mentor engineers, build MLOps capabilities, and implement automated deployment and monitoring pipelines.
• Fine-tune generative models for NLP use cases, ensuring high-quality outputs in summarization and generation.
• Evaluate models, iterate architectures, and improve overall NLP performance.
• Monitor model performance in real time and ensure reliability and governance.
• Communicate AI capabilities and results to technical and non-technical audiences; stay current with AI trends.
