Job summary

Obsidian is seeking Full-Stack Software Engineers to join a cutting-edge GenAI team in New York. You will build and ship full-stack applications across Python, Java, Rust, C#, C++, and TypeScript, and work directly with the engineering manager on fast-moving projects.

You will integrate pre-release model APIs, develop tooling and telemetry, and diagnose complex failures across the stack. This is a 40-hour-per-week W-2 role with placement options at a leading AI Lab.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Production, end-to-end delivery across modern stacks (backend services, APIs, frontend).
• Experience with at least two language ecosystems from the listed set.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack applications and internal tools.
• Integrate pre-release model APIs into working software and telemetry.
• Diagnose and document model/integration failures for the research team.
• Prototype quickly against shifting requirements with minimal upfront spec.
• Collaborate with engineers to maintain code quality and documentation.
