Job summary

Obsidian is seeking a skilled MLOps Engineer to join a premier AI lab's GenAI team. You will be instrumental in the development and evaluation of advanced AI models, utilizing ML frameworks such as JAX and PyTorch. This full-time position, in partnership with Cincinnatus LLC, requires strong technical skills and a commitment to support research efforts effectively.

As part of this role, you will guide teams, design domain-relevant tasks, and be responsible for improving AI model performance through rigorous evaluation and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in ML infrastructure, MLOps, or ML systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with JAX and/or PyTorch at scale.
• Experience with custom GPU kernels using Pallas or Triton.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams to improve AI model performance in MLOps.
• Design and write solutions to MLOps and ML systems problems.
• Evaluate MLOps tasks and provide technical feedback.
• Develop guidelines to assess training pipeline design.
• Collaborate to ensure consistency in training data.
