Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking an innovative GenAI Front-End Engineer for a 6-month hybrid engagement in South San Francisco, CA (office 1-2 days per week).

You will work on embedding GenAI-enabled UI components, building micro-frontends, and crafting SDK contracts and callbacks to enable seamless integration. The ideal candidate has strong React and TypeScript production experience, plus a track record of embedding UI or micro-frontend services, and experience with streaming GenAI interfaces and REST

Qualifications

• Experience with embedding UI, service or micro-frontend.
• Strong production experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience designing clean integration APIs, SDK contracts, callbacks.
• Experience building streaming, multi-turn GenAI interfaces.
• Experience integrating REST and streaming APIs.
