Job summary

BCforward is seeking a GenAI Front-End Engineer for a 6-month contract in South San Francisco. The role centers on building an embedded UI for GenAI experiences, leveraging React and TypeScript, and integrating via micro-frontends and secure APIs.

You will define integration APIs, capture host context, and render structured outputs such as tables and charts, while working with REST and streaming APIs and authentication.

• Build streaming, multi-turn GenAI experiences with clarification flows, conversation history, retries, and error handling.
• Render structured responses such as tables, charts, citations, and reusable results.
• Integrate REST and streaming APIs with authentication and token management in secure client contexts.

We are seeking a GenAI Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in React, TypeScript, and embedded UI integration patterns and a proven ability to deliver reusable conversational analytics experiences that integrate securely into host applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an embedded conversational and analytics UI that integrates with host products via micro-frontend, Web Component, SDK, module federation, or secure iframe.
• Define clean integration APIs, SDK contracts, callbacks, events, and versioned interfaces for host teams.
• Capture and process host application context including active page, filters, selected objects, and user actions.
• Build streaming, multi-turn GenAI experiences with clarification flows, conversation history, retries, and error handling.
• Render structured responses such as streamed answers, tables, charts, citations, and reusable results.
• Integrate REST and streaming APIs with authentication and token management in secure client contexts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong React and TypeScript production experience.
• Proven experience embedding a UI, service, or micro-frontend within another application.
• Experience designing integration APIs, SDK contracts, callbacks, events, and versioned interfaces.
• Experience capturing host application context including active screen, filters, selected objects, and user actions.
• Experience building streaming, multi-turn GenAI interfaces with conversation history and clarification flows.
• Experience rendering structured responses including tables, charts, citations, and reusable results.
• Experience integrating REST and streaming APIs with authentication and token management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building reusable UI SDKs or components used by multiple host applications.
• Experience with micro-frontends, Web Components, module federation, or secure iframe patterns.
• Familiarity with MCP clients, embedded analytics, or enterprise copilot products.
• Familiarity with AWS, Amazon Bedrock, and AgentCore-backed applications.
