Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier AI products with production environments at customer sites. You will code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions within customers’ environments, acting as an innovator-builder with high-agency responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5 years of software development with Python or similar languages.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP).
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from conception to launch for customers.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Hands‑on experience implementing and customizing Google’s Conversational AI product suite (Gemini CX, CES, CCAI).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, transitioning prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and code the connective tissue between Google AI products and customer live infrastructure.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or feature requests.
• Co-build with customer engineering teams to ensure long-term project success and adoption.
