Job summary

Google Cloud is hiring a Generative AI Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier AI products and production environments. You will embed with strategic accounts, ship bespoke agentic solutions, and help shape Google Cloud’s product roadmap.

You will work across the Go-To-Market team, leveraging Gemini models and Vertex AI, delivering white-glove deployments and customer success at scale.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development using Python or similar languages.
Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from conception to launch for customers.
Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP).
Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.

Responsibilities

Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, moving prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
Architect and code the connective tissue between Google AI products and customer live infrastructure.
Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for accuracy, safety, latency.
Identify repeatable field patterns and convert them into reusable modules or feature requests.
Co-build with Customer Engineering teams to ensure long-term project success.
