Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) in Los Angeles to bridge frontier AI products and production environments. You will embed with customers to code, debug, and ship bespoke agentic solutions directly within their infrastructure.

The role emphasizes high agency, ownership, and fast iteration across data readiness, state management, and security boundaries, delivering white-glove deployments of Gemini-powered CX, CES, and CCAI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP).
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG architectures.
• Hands-on experience deploying and integrating Google's Conversational AI product suite (Gemini-powered CX, CES, CCAI).

Responsibilities

• Develop production-grade AI applications and move prototypes to live deployments.
• Architect the integration between Google AI products and customer environments, including APIs and data silos.
• Build high-performance evaluation and observability pipelines for accuracy, safety, and latency.
• Identify repeatable patterns and translate them into reusable modules or feature requests.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to enforce Google-grade development practices and adoption.
