Ascendion is seeking an AI/GenAI Engineer in Plano, TX to design, develop, and deploy production-grade Agentic AI solutions using Python, LangChain/LangGraph, Kubernetes, and LLM technologies. Three interview rounds are planned, with in-person rounds in Plano, TX.

The role focuses on owning AI use cases end-to-end, building scalable AI workflows, and delivering enterprise-grade AI capabilities for Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
• Hands-on experience designing, deploying, monitoring, and debugging production-grade Agentic AI / GenAI applications.
• Strong Python development expertise for AI and backend engineering.
• Experience with Java or willingness to work extensively with Java-based service layers.
• Practical experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI agent orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and operate production-grade Agentic AI systems for enterprise-scale applications.
• Own AI use cases end-to-end, from business requirement gathering through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.
• Develop and implement agent orchestration workflows using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
• Build reusable LLM tools and enterprise skills that enable AI agents to securely interact with business systems.
