Job summary

NFL is seeking a Fan Engagement Data Scientist to partner with the NYC team and stakeholders across Marketing, DTC, and Consumer Insights. You will lead a distributed offshore delivery team, framing questions and presenting findings to Director- and VP-level leaders on high-impact analytics projects.

You will design segmentation and predictive models, apply GenAI-enabled analytics, and define KPIs for fan engagement while ensuring data quality across initiatives on a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in customer or fan data analytics
• Experience turning ambiguous business questions into delivery-ready analytical work
• Experience leading or partnering with distributed/offshore teams
• Advanced SQL and Python; working knowledge of ML frameworks and GenAI/LLM analytics tools
• Understanding of data management principles and marketing consent
• Experience with a modern cloud data stack (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous business questions into scoped, high-impact analytical work
• Lead and coach a distributed offshore delivery team
• Own work end-to-end from framing a hypothesis to presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Build partnerships across marketing, technology, BI, and data engineering
• Design segmentation, predictive models, and experiments for targeted marketing strategies
• Apply GenAI/LLM-assisted analytics tools within governed workflows
• Define and manage KPIs for fan engagement with BI Center of Excellence
• Champion data quality and integrity across initiatives
