Job summary

EY is seeking a Data and Cloud Engineering Manager to turn data and AI capabilities into scalable, reliable production solutions across the full platform lifecycle. You will own workstreams, budgets, and client engagement while guiding team leadership and commercial acumen.

The role requires hands-on engineering in cloud platforms (Azure focus), Kubernetes, and CI/CD, with experience in scaling data pipelines and governance. Remote work options support US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven record operating High Availability services on Azure (4+ years).
• Experience with core Azure services (Functions, Container Apps, SQL, Blob, AKS, Monitor).
• Experience designing and managing Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Experience implementing SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
• Experience monitoring container-based microservices and cloud platform services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and delivering software in sprints.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more technical workstreams and assure delivery quality.
• Translate requirements into architecture, pipelines, models or production platforms.
• Maintain daily client engagement and identify adjacent service opportunities.
• Manage resource plans, budgets and engagement economics.
• Own problems from source through data pipeline to production handoff.
• Promote automation and efficiency across cross-functional teams.
• Work with development teams to ensure availability and performance.
• Design and run the underlying cloud and container platform used by application teams.
• Build scalable pipelines and streaming architectures on cloud platforms.
