Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Proven record operating High Availability services on Azure (4+ years).
• Expert understanding of core Azure services (Functions, AKS, SQL Database, Blob Storage, etc.).
• Experience designing and managing Kubernetes-based container orchestration.
• Experience implementing SRE standards for resiliency and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more technical workstreams and assure delivery quality.
• Translate business and client requirements into architecture and production platforms.
• Maintain daily client engagement and identify adjacent service opportunities.
• Manage resource plans, budgets and engagement economics.
• Own problems from data source through pipeline, model/analysis and production handoff.
• Automate and drive efficiency across cross-functional teams.
• Ensure high availability, reliability and performance of services.
• Design, provision, and run cloud and container platforms relied on by teams.
• Build scalable pipelines and streaming architectures using Python/SQL and cloud platforms.
• Apply data architecture, modelling, integration, quality, security and governance.
