Guidehouse is seeking a data science and AI-focused professional to support the DHS mission on our AI and Data Defense and Security team. You will design, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions, develop scalable data pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver production-ready analytics and decision support.

Qualifikationen

• Must obtain and maintain a Federal or DHS PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Three or more years of experience in data analytics, data visualization, or related technical consulting fields.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain AI and ML solutions for strategic and tactical decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve organizational efficiency by applying AI and analytics to workflows.
• Design and implement AI-enabled workflow solutions for document processing, knowledge management, and case management.
• Develop GenAI solutions using LLMs, RAG, semantic search, and AI agents.
• Develop ML models (predictive, NLP, computer vision) on structured and unstructured data.
• Build data pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud analytics platforms.
• Evaluate model performance, explainability, fairness, and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into production-ready AI solutions.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and improvement of AI solutions using MLOps and DevSecOps.
• Apply responsible AI principles, governance, privacy, security, and human-in-the-loop review throughout the lifecycle.
• Design and maintain scalable ETL and AI pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, S3, and AWS analytics services.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership and reviews.
