Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an AI Lead to set the technical direction for secure, scalable AI/ML solutions in regulated environments. You will guide multidisciplinary teams across data science, software engineering, and security to deliver production-ready capabilities that align with agency priorities and governance.

You will oversee AI engineering, model governance, and responsible AI practices while driving modernization and cost-efficient deployment across cloud and hybrid platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering production AI/ML solutions in regulated environments.
• Ability to translate mission needs into production-grade AI capabilities.
• Leading AI/ML teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define AI strategy and technical roadmap aligned to priorities.
• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of AI/ML solutions, including data ingestion and deployment.
• Architect secure, scalable cloud/hybrid AI solutions.
• Establish MLOps and LLMOps practices for testing and release management.
• Evaluate models/tools and guide build-versus-buy decisions.
• Implement responsible AI with governance and privacy controls.
• Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST where applicable.
• Mentor cross-functional teams and communicate options to executives.
