Travelers in Hartford, CT is seeking a senior Data Engineer to advance our analytics landscape. You will design, build and deploy scalable data pipelines that context data for the enterprise, enabling AI/ML and BI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field or equivalent.
• Eight years of related experience in data engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience designing and building scalable, cloud-native data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and operationalize complex data solutions, correct problems and apply data cleansing/quality solutions.
• Design complex data solutions and assess data value for analytics.
• Incorporate data governance, security and quality across pipelines.
• Collaborate with teams to educate users on data products and analytics environments.
• Perform data and system analysis, identify defects and fix issues.
• Test data movement, transformation code and data components.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
