Job summary

EY is seeking a GenAI Developer for the Government and Public Sector practice in the US. You will design and optimize AI-enabled web applications, working with AI/ML engineers to deliver data-driven solutions across multiple sources.

The role emphasizes cloud deployment, collaboration with product teams, and delivering robust analytics capabilities. A bachelor’s degree and eligibility for a Secret clearance are required, with a hybrid in-person work model in the McLean area.

Qualifications

• Must have bachelor’s degree.
• Must be eligible to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.
• 1–2+ years in modern web development (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Backend development experience (Node.js, Python, FastAPI).
• Familiar with deploying apps on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Vercel).
• Experience with integrating generative AI models into applications.
• Able to work in-person as needed.
• Knowledge of ETL, data ingestion/cleaning and big data tech.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize applications using modern web frameworks and AI models.
• Support government clients with data science and big data technologies.
• Develop, maintain and enhance scalable data-driven web solutions.
