Job summary

EY is seeking a GenAI Developer – Manager for Government and Public Sector technology consulting. You will design and optimize AI-enabled web applications, integrate generative AI models, and collaborate with AI/ML engineers to deliver scalable data-driven solutions across federal/state/local clients.

This role blends strategy, execution, and hands-on development in a high-visibility environment. The ideal candidate brings 6–8+ years of experience in modern web development, cloud deployments

Qualifications

• Must have bachelor's degree.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Must have at least 6-8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience: modern web development (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience: backend development (Node.js, Python, FastAPI).
• Experience integrating generative AI models into applications (APIs or fine-tuned models).
• Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Vercel).
• 2+ years GenAI experience + ETL and data engineering skills.
• Machine learning with common algorithms.
• Experience with data mining/tools like NumPy, R, PyMongo.
• Big data tech experience (Hadoop, AWS/Microsoft).
• Comfortable working in-person as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize applications leveraging modern web frameworks and AI models.
• Support government clients with data science and big data technologies to design and maintain scalable solutions.
• Implement generative AI models and collaborate with AI/ML engineers to deliver intelligent UX.
