Job summary

Cincinnatus LLC is seeking a Brand & Advertising Art Director or Senior Brand Designer for a leading AI lab GenAI program in the USA. This full-time role requires hands-on agency-style design across identity systems, packaging, out-of-home campaigns and multi-format suites, with the ability to deliver final files directly.

You will work 40 hours per week under a W-2 arrangement with Cincinnatus LLC and be placed at the AI lab as part of the extended workforce.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of shipped commercial brand and advertising design work as an art director or senior designer at a creative agency, brand consultancy, packaging studio or in-house studio.
• Hands-on daily fluency in Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma, with InDesign for layout and print, and the ability to build final files yourself.
• Delivered brand identity systems across real touchpoints and ready for press-ready production.
• Experience with out-of-home and multi-format campaigns and print production processes.
• Strong typography, grid craft, vector illustration and image retouching.
• Generative AI practice in design tools with judgment to discern strong results from plausible ones.

Responsibilities

• Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in brand identity, advertising and graphic design.
• Design challenging, real-world design tasks drawn from agency workflows and produce editable source files.
• Evaluate AI-generated design work and provide clear, written feedback on typography, grids, color and print feasibility.
• Develop guidelines, rubrics and quality checks for graphic design and prepress processes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training data accuracy.
