Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in New Jersey seeks a Manager, GenAI AWS Platform Engineering for its Technology Services group in Raritan. You will lead modernization of the GenAI platform on AWS, drive governance, and ensure cloud-native, regulated infrastructure for GenAI workloads.

You will manage an AWS platform engineering team, partner with Azure and ISRM, and shape reference architectures, cost, performance, and reliability in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ownership of enterprise AWS estate at scale.
• Experience delivering IaC as the primary interface.
• Leadership of engineers in a regulated cloud environment.
• Proven track record with GxP, SOX or equivalent controls.
• Practical AI/ML workloads experience on AWS.
• Ability to communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Define the GenAI cloud-native modernization roadmap on AWS.
• Engineer the AWS foundation: Bedrock, IAM, VPCs, and PrivateLink.
• Codify infrastructure with Terraform and CDK, drift detection.
• Plan migration waves with backward-compatible interfaces.
• Deliver compliant, verifiable AWS infrastructure under change control.
• Lead cost, performance, and reliability engineering.
• Coach the AWS platform engineering team and collaborate across clouds.
