Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Applied Scientist with a strong deep learning background to advance GenAI with LLMs. You will work on RL Gyms, evaluate frontier model advances, and build techniques to push state-of-the-art in large language models using vast data and compute resources.

Qualifications

• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
• PhD, or Master’s degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
• 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

Responsabilités

• As an Applied Scientist with the FAI team, you will support the development of RL Gyms, assess their usefulness for frontier model advancement and build techniques to advance the state of the art with LLMs.
• You will support the foundational model development in an applied research role and leverage heterogeneous data sources and large‑scale computing resources.
• Your work will directly impact products and services that make use of GenAI technology for customers.
