Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a hands-on GenAI engineer to transform mission needs into secure, scalable AI applications across defense, national security, and civilian programs. You will own end-to-end delivery from use-case evaluation to production deployment, collaborating with product, security, data, and SRE to ensure safe, cost-conscious performance.

You will design agentic workflows, implement RAG pipelines, evaluate models, and deploy with strong observability and guardrails.

Qualifications

• Built and deployed production GenAI applications.
• Hands-on with GPT, Claude, Llama, Gemini, Mistral via APIs or self-hosted.
• Designed RAG solutions with embeddings and vector databases.
• Shipped AI apps using LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or similar.
• Strong Python development for AI/ML integration.
• End-to-end AI solutions with deployment and operations support.
• Active U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design & ship mission-grade GenAI: agentic workflows and RAG.
• Apply patterns from LangChain/LlamaIndex; plan task decomposition and guardrails.
• Platform integration: AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, Kendra, etc.
• LLM selection, evaluation, and deployment with observability.
• Build retrieval pipelines & vector search; manage data prep and IR evals.
• Instrument metrics/logs/traces; run experiments and incident playbooks.
• Define SLIs/SLOs and manage FinOps for AI token spend.
• Ship SDKs and IaC templates to accelerate missions.
