Job summary

FIS is actively seeking an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer Lead to design and develop generative AI and agent-based solutions across the enterprise. You will build scalable applications using large language models and integrate them with enterprise platforms and workflows.

You will evaluate model and system performance for accuracy, reliability, grounding and safety while collaborating with architects, data scientists and engineers to translate emerging technologies into

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of overall professional experience with 4+ years in AI/GenAI or agent-based AI.
• Designing and building GenAI-powered applications using LLMs (open & proprietary).
• Building agent-based systems with planning, memory, tool use, orchestration.
• Implementing Agentic workflows (multi-agent, human-in-the-loop, autonomous tasks).
• Hands-on with large language models, prompting, memory management and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Strong Python proficiency and experience with ML frameworks and libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, pandas).
• Experience with vector databases, retrieval systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and Flask/FastAPI.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build generative AI applications using proprietary and open-weight LLMs.
• Develop agent-based systems and workflows supporting planning, memory, tool use and orchestration.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms, APIs and business workflows.
• Build and deploy REST services using Flask or FastAPI.
