Job summary

Synechron seeks an AI Lead Engineer in Charlotte, NC for hands-on leadership in AI/ML, Generative AI, and AI orchestration. You will design, deploy, and mentor teams to deliver scalable AI platforms and production-grade Python applications.

You will collaborate with product owners and executives to translate business problems into AI solutions, evaluate new AI technologies, and shape governance and MLOps practices across a multinational organization.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on expertise in Python.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
• Architect scalable AI platforms leveraging LLMs, RAG frameworks, AI agents, and cloud-native services.
• Develop and optimize Python-based applications, APIs, and AI workflows.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and architects to translate business problems into AI solutions.
• Drive innovation by evaluating emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and accelerators.
• Mentor and guide AI engineers, fostering technical excellence and best practices.
• Establish AI engineering standards, governance, and MLOps practices.
• Lead POCs, prototypes, and production implementations from concept to deployment.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives and clients.
• Contribute to solutioning, estimation, proposals, and client presentations.
