Job summary

VeeRteq Solutions Inc. seeks a Gen AI Developer to join an Agile team building a production-grade healthcare conversational GenAI platform. You will craft backend services with Python/FastAPI, design multi-agent GenAI workflows, and secure integrations with major LLM providers on Azure.

You will own development of domain tasks (care tasks, medications, scheduling), implement RAG and guardrails, and contribute to CI/CD and observability. Remote work within Canada is supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong production experience in Python and asynchronous frameworks (FastAPI).
• Hands-on experience with Google ADK 2.0 for multi-agent orchestration.
• Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain and PydanticAI toolchains.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, structured output validation, and AI safety patterns.
• Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Google ADK 2.0.
• Experience with Azure services (Cosmos DB, Key Vault, App Configuration).
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and containerized deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend APIs and services using Python 3.12+ and FastAPI.
• Develop multi-agent GenAI workflows using Google ADK 2.0 as the orchestration framework.
• Integrate and fine-tune LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and GenAI toolkits.
• Support and extend workflows across LangGraph, LangChain, and PydanticAI; ensure interoperability.
• Implement RAG, prompt engineering, structured output validation, and AI guardrails.
• Build healthcare domain workflows and integrate with clinical systems as required.
• Leverage Azure services for data, configuration, secrets, and telemetry; ensure security.
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews, testing (pytest), CI/CD, and production operations.
